Return Day
Weekender Courses: For the 2-Day Seamanship course, you’ll return to Bellingham late afternoon on Sunday. You may spend time Sunday afternoon on docking practice and will conclude with a visit to the fuel dock before your head back to your slip to offload. You can expect to be off your boat by 5pm and on your way home shortly thereafter.
Weeklong Private Course: For weeklong private courses, Friday morning will be spent crossing Bellingham Bay from your previous night’s anchorage. You and your crew might decide to head in early to refuel, avoiding a line at the fuel dock. You’ll have time to either take your last exam or take advantage of prime docking practice in the marina. One can never get enough docking practice! By noon you’ll be offloading and ready for final pictures and goodbyes. We’ll assist you if you need a cab, directions or dining recommendations.
