Travel Information & DirectionsCharter arrival and return days are always busy days, with lots to accomplish. This page will help you understand our procedures and navigate the to do lists for boarding and orienting yourself to your boat, and returning your boat at the end of your charter.
Arrival/Return Day InformationAs members of our charter fleet, each of our boat owners agrees to complete an exhaustive, required preventive maintenance schedule on their boat every single year. The goal? To give you the most trouble-free vacation possible!
Annual Preventive Maintenance ScheduleThe islands of the Salish Sea are shielded from ocean storms and lie in the rain shadow of Washington's Olympic Mountains, resulting in sunny, protected, line-of-sight cruising among picturesque, forested islands. People often think of rain when they think of the Pacific Northwest, but because of the rain shadow the islands receive much less rain than you'd think! Overall the San Juan Islands receive about 1/2 the rain as Seattle and experience an average of 247 sunny days per year. Summer temperatures are generally in the low to mid 70s and winter temperatures in the high 30s or low 40s.
