TRANSPORTATION
 | Bellingham International Airport (BLI)
is serviced by Alaska/Horizon Air (www.alaskaair.com)
and Allegiant Air (www.allegiantair.com).

major hubs throughout the US and Canada. Allegiant Air offers
direct flights to Bellingham from Los Angeles, San Diego, Oakland, San
Francisco area, Palm Springs, Phoenix and Las Vegas. |
 | Our office is a short 10 minute taxi ride from Bellingham
Airport. We would be happy to either call you a cab or you can use
the courtesy phones at the airport. |
 | Seattle-Tacoma International Airport
(SEA) is located within easy reach of Bellingham and offers complete
nationwide and international service. |
GROUND TRANSPORTATION
Interstate 5 links Bellingham and SeaTac. The scenic
100 miles is a two hour drive when traffic is light, though it can be
significantly longer during high traffic times in the Seattle/Everett area.
 | The advantage of renting a car to get
from SeaTac to Bellingham is that you will have the car available to you
for provisioning before your charter. In a recent price check, the best
rate was a weekly rental from Enterprise. Hertz and Avis offer one-day car rentals from SeaTac to
Bellingham, with no drop off charge, so you don't have to rent the car while you are
sailing. Be sure to ask your rental agency if the offer any discounts
for any membership you may carry, such as AAA or Costco. Most of our guests choose Bellingham International Airport as
their rental car drop-off/pick-up location. Our office is just a ten
minute cab ride from the Bellingham International Airport. |
 | Hint: For those renting cars at
SeaTac and planning to attend the 4:30pm Friday Skippers Meeting, we
suggest planning your arrival so that you are able to pick up your
rental car no later than 2pm. This will allow you to miss the rush
hour traffic in the Seattle/Everett area and give you the greatest
chance of arriving in time for the 4:30pm skippers meeting. If are
unable to arrive in time for the 4:30pm Friday skippers meeting we do
offer an alternative skippers meeting at 9:30am Saturday morning. |
 | The SeaTac Airporter Shuttle runs 9 times daily from 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. to
Bellingham. Reservations advised 1-800-423-4219. |
